Been through quite a bit of TTS evolving this deck. Obi-Wan Kenobi - Mysterious Hermit is controversial due to his high cost, and being compared to Luke Skywalker - Jedi Knight with Luke being a better alternative. I find his Focus sides extremely helpful in getting you the damage sides on Rey - Force Prodigy.

My opponent normally goes after Rey first, leaving you with Obi-Wan who can Guard and guardian away damage and dish it out when Rey's Force Speeds roll focus. One of the key's here is getting Melee sides for a surprise Close Quarters Assault to take away your opponent's dice control cards.

I used to run All In for this deck, but it's so fast, that I don't need it by using Rey to cheat out actions. It Binds All Things is a slow card that you hope to get out early enough to not be an issue. Force Illusion is the oh $#iT card unless your opponent is running unblock-able damage.

This is a get in quick with Vibro damage before your opponent has a chance to Respond deck, and it has worked so far. I have trouble against better damage decks, and extremely defensive decks. This deck tends to be too fast for a Mill, although it still needs testing. I'm welcome to critique and advice on making this deck more efficient, and allowing my favorite characters of the original trilogy, and new trilogy shine.

EDIT: Lately I've been using Secluded Beach - Scarifas my starting location, and it has worked wonders with this deck. Nothing else has changed and I'm racking in the Wins on TTS. If only my TeamCovenant box would arrive, I could try this in real life.

This seems like a fast deck, I'm surprised to see you running Mos Eisley. Any reason behind that?

So, Mos Eisley is quite neutral, and I feel putting a force-speed back in the hand is a great way to get that extra resource for an instant Lightbow next turn. There are times where you want to go slower to be reactionary with Guard/High Ground. I'd thought of using Carbon Chamber, but since this is a 3 dice deck, you need your Obi-Wan dice as much as possible.

I also thought of Ewok Village, but Vibroknife cuts through shields anyway. I'm open to other suggestions though.

I think something like Secluded Beach - Scarif, Otoh Gunga - Naboo, Maz's Castle - Takodana, or Moisture Farm - Tatooine are all pretty good picks since they don't bite back that much. I just Mos Eisley Spaceport - Tatooine gets underutilized too much and sure your opponent can't do much with it but I think you can edge out a little bit more on the BF choice.

I really appreciate the advice. I'll work on switching up the BattleField in future games.

I second Secluded Beach - Scarif. It provides a one-sided advantage to your deck against most opponents, although it might be difficult winning the battlefield roll with only 3 dice.

I like this deck. It pretty much Luke and Rey but with Old Ben instead. I too am on the fence between Luke and Ben. I am a fan of the battlefield you chose.

Hi Virtigo, when you say you had trouble against better damage decks which ones are you referring to?

Scactha 888

Very cool deck. I find it odd that people would go for Rey when Ben is the pillar, but good for you.

On cost reduction and battle grounds maybe The Force is Strong and Starship Graveyard. Graveyard doubles to recycle Force Illusion and putting stuff in that can be recycled if you draw a pairing card.

Close Quarters Assault and the Lightbow are looking a tad odd. The first is for a Discard strategy which you don´t support otherwise and the latter takes you into a dual type damage area. Always evade if possible so not to be smacked by IAT and lose tempo. Lukes Sabre and Confidence instead maybe?

Beautiful curve btw :) I guess the deck runs very smooth.

Why do you prefer to use the Handcrafted Light Bow instead of Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber?

Virtigo501 123

rohanzo- So, I have trouble against Vader 2.0/ FN2199 who can kill Rey off first turn and make it really hard to recover :( Also, a deck that is troubling is Poe/Maz or Poe/Rey where if the draw is right, Boom thermal detonators and the falcon can ruin your day.

Scactha- It's been an odd experience with close quarters where I can find myself NOT resolving damage after using force speeds to force my opponent to get rid of their hand. My experience is that Poe is going to be a huge rival in SoR, and Close Quarters Assault can give you a bit of breathing room vs the crazy damage output. It's not the main focus of the deck sure, but man does it surprise my opponent when they discard 4-5 random cards. Then I can resolve damage on the next turn without dice control worry.

Handcrafted Light Bow is just such a good card for damage sides. I would love to run Luke's saber in there, and have thought of regular Lightsaber for melee sides and redeploy, but the ability to deal 3 damage with the light bow special and use My Ally Is The Force or take away shields with 2 damage is just insane. With Kenobi's focus sides, I have a greater chance to activate those wicked specials as well.

Confidence is a great removal for 0, and it's just really hard to make room. Oddly the card that goes in/out of this deck is Trust Your Instincts for a free/reroll and draw especially against Ventress decks or Mill, but I prefer to have Swiftness for the action cheat.

I appreciate the compliment, this deck does run smooth because there are many 'good' starting hands to choose from.

Correction- (Round 1) for Vader/9's killing Rey.

Scactha 888

@Virtigo501 You use it as a tempo card. That is good, haven´t thought about it. Might try it myself.
