Asajj Ventress - Swift And Cunning is a control themed character. High health at a reasonable cost, sweet ability to disrupt your opponent, and blue.

In other words she is this sets Grand Inquisitor - Sith Loyalist, but sucks slightly less. I will say if you haven’t tried grand inquisitor with Force Focus then you are missing out, because that’s a sweet combo and works super well with a ramp support imo.

First questions are the pairing and the downgrades. I wanted to play control so Dengar - Ruthless Tracker didn’t fit super well with that plan, and I think all of the yellow downgrades are trash. Most of the downgrades are trash but at least Hampered does something and Mind Extraction can be hilarious. Control decks either want info or money, so I figured I should choose between Wat Tambor - Techno Union Foreman and Wullf Yularen - ISB Colonel.

So if ya gonna play control ya need a big beefy wincon. Rise Again rotated and we can’t support Witch Magick so good luck using sticks/abilities for that. Villains don’t mill for some reason so that leads us to supports. With supports in mind wat becomes absurd, so we now have our pairing. With asajj’s beautiful payside we can’t vomit out a ton of supports, so only the finest supports are picked based off absurdity and wat’s PA. Who doesn’t love to give people the Fist. I did think of using TIE Fighters and fists, but I don’t think we make enough money to get the full value out of them.

Obviously asajj isn’t stelar against vehicles, sure she can disrupt ramp strategies for a bit but that’s more delaying the inevitable. We run 2 Electromagnetic Pulse because I’m not creative with my solutions.

The deck did fine in its first couple of games, with some tweaking I think it can become a reasonably real deck. Also when I built the deck I didn’t have any Soresu Mastery. While I don’t think it fits in this deck right now it should def have a home in some form of control deck.

Any suggestions on tweaks would help!
