Testing has been going really well despite the reandom feeling of whats coming in my hand next.

Qui-Gon Jinn - Defiant Jedi Master is a worthwhile replacement for Luke Skywalker - Reluctant Instructor in the other mono-blue hero line up. He is solid character that if left to set up will punish the opposition medium to late game.

However with regard to this Highlander deck "There can be only one!"... the reality is that i had to cut this deck down to the 30 cards that fit for my play style. Each and every person that will try a similar build will find 10+ flex slots that you can adjust for your play style, aversions and card access. Happy to chat through my thoughts but to be honest i've already adjust my initial testing suite 3 times for my own thoughts on playing the deck...

Originally i had Synchronicity and Riposte in the list. However i found i either wanted to get my dice used early and had little opportunity to pause for damage out of hand. In addition i also found i didn't want to throw shields at the enemy as i found Qui-Gon Jinn - Defiant Jedi Master's ability great and occassionally i needed assistance to get to the magixc value of 3 shields rather than binning shields for damage myself. The reality is that in the long term the damage is made up with additional ability damage from having shields anyway. Therefore i put in a Take Cover and Hold Off to help get that additional shield when and where required. But in the case of Hold Off it has the flexibilty to also be mitigation for when required.

Well in closing give a "Highlander" deck a go? It was at least fun to build and theorise even if it might not make Tier 1 in the long run.
