I wanted to maximize Rex's ability and after testing with eRex/Trooper/Trooper, I found it a bit lacking and boring being only Red.

So we moved it away from the mono-red scheme and added a splash of Yellow to liven it up a bit.

This combo is FUN. Constantly taking Battlefield control with Rex's ability. Getting Rex's Blaster Pistol on Rex and on the Clone Trooper allows you to push out all three characters and resolve some dice with Maz Kanata. Not to mention Trooper's free reroll on any character die. The deck speed is pretty fast allowing you to stall out to use the Battlefield control-mitigation, or to claim, hit them with Planetary Uprising, use Docking Bay and keep recycling Suppressive Fire (also why I included a New Orders if you lose the roll-off).

Ideally I try to mulligan for Maz's Vault to keep money high and a blaster in hand to put on whoever is targeted first. You should have enough each turn for mitigation and a support/upgrade.

I added 2 Hit and Run in here for some big speed plays/damage resolution. I'm also testing with Retreat to slow down heavy support/vehicle decks having free play since I'm mostly resolving faster.

I removed Mortar Team and Ground Battalion mainly due to speed and costs, but there still might be potential there especially with being able to resolve the mortar dice as . I also tried to stay away from Upgrade costs higher than 2 like Camouflaged Rifle which I was originally using due to Battlefield control, but never got out in my tests due to less spare resources.

EDITS:

-I've removed the two Dug in for 2 Honor Guard to support the Suppressive Fire recycling. Dug in ended up being slower and often the shields would be eaten in the next turn. Removing the damage dealing die in the first place just makes more sense.

-Healing ended up being kind of problematic. People only target Rex or Maz first; I've added First Aid back in as well so Field Medic can be used on Maz if needed.

Surely honor guard over suppressive fire as docking bay will pay for it? Where as Suppressive fire you still have to pay?

@NexasheFinancially, yeah I'd agree its smarter. But being able to reactively remove a Snoke-able die or a Yoda special without losing speed or wasting an action is something I consider far more valuable and well worth the 1 resource.

What about Quick Draw for more action cheating?

@Stephilmike Yeah! This is actually something I've been testing with and haven't had a chance to update DB regarding, but Quickdraw works amazingly in this deck, especially on the ambush weapons.
