Took my previous version to our first post-EaW tournament and got 2nd, losing to the guy I consider our top local player. Another thing to consider is that because all these EaW cards are shiny and new, people may be trying out sub-optimal options.

Game 1: Jango/Jabba Mill This was the only game where I used backup muscle. It was certainly helpful (he kept rolling Hound's Tooth shields), but the pure damage is what got me the win here. I also Coerced his Buyouts for 0 and 1 resources. He took me to my last few cards, but I also didn't see a weapon until round three. After that it was over. 1-0

Game 2: Villain Vehicles Ciena and Tie Pilot are squishy and I rolled well. Cad's discard sides killed a lot of important cards for him. Got at least one weapon in hand every round. 2-0

Game 3: Kylo2/Nines This was probably the toughest of the games I won. This deck is mostly yellow, which he guessed every time, but not once did he pull a yellow card. Thank you Doubt and Logistics. I killed Kylo in round 2. He did kill my Cad Bane (the only person to concentrate on him first), but not before I had him loaded up with 3 redeploy weapons. I had left Phasma readied, so she finished him off. 3-0

Game 4: Phasma Guardians In the final game of the night I played against who I consider to be our best local player. He's been playing Phasma and knows it well. Guardian actually wasn't the issue (I think he maybe used it once), it was a combination of total health, bad rolls, and not drawing rend out until near the end. If Cad can't pay for those damage-for-resource sides every once in a while, things will not go as well with two salvage stands sitting out. Came down to my 6ish health Cad vs. full health Phasma, neither of us had removal in hand. He rolled all damage I rolled none. 3-1

All told, these are the changes I've made after that event. Imperial HQ costs one to put out, just like Backup Muscle, and will help with the resource-costed damage sides. Backup muscle just felt slow and I usually had removal, weapons, or damage to pay for. I tried Tactical Mastery instead of Dug In, but I was unsatisfied. I will try Truce for more money gains next time. Starship Graveyard helped against the mill, but otherwise felt meh, so Rebel War Room gets subbed in. Deadly I feel is great, at least as a one-of to make use of Cad's blanks and/or any sides you can't pay for, but I could see replacing it (maybe DH-17). Lastly, I'm tempted to replace Phasma's blaster, another card I didn't use once, for the DH-17 Blaster, to help ramp. I'm very torn, mainly because it's so good.

Last thoughts: Overall I felt that this deck was a higher damage/higher costed Jango/Veers along with being a more consistent/less bursty Han/Rey. It was a lot of fun to play and can put damage out there fast.
