Nothing too out of the ordinary here - it's a pretty typical Qui-Gon / Rey melee rush deck. I tend to play a little more passively than some might, and am slightly restricted by not having some key cards. (Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber and One With The Force, for example)
My Ally Is The Force is amazing and can pull out some clutch wins late game. My favorite target is the special side of Handcrafted Light Bow. I prefer not to have it in my opening hand though and will almost always mulligan it out of my opening hand as I want it to show up after I've got some upgrades in play.
Close Quarters Assault is my surprise card and can be worth delaying a resolution if you've got a feeling that your opponent has something important in their hand. (Watch for a buildup of resources or other hints like that.) I usually try to force a discard of at least three.
An example of a perfect first turn swing would be to play Force Speed on Rey, follow up with Vibroknife, roll out Rey - Force Prodigy, (three sides with plus Force Speed would be ideal,) resolve , roll out Qui-Gon Jinn - Ataru Master, (Again, in a perfect world, two dice,) then if you've got between 3-5 sides showing, play Close Quarters Assault. It can leave your dice open to mitigation, but if you manage to get REALLY lucky they'll lose the best parts of their hand.
Qui-Gon Jinn - Ataru Master provides some great shield antics and in a pinch can be re-rolled for more to try to trigger Your Eyes Can Deceive You for more dice control if Guard, Deflect, and Makashi Training aren't mitigating enough damage.
Journals of Ben Kenobi provides some ramping opportunities and the occasional card draw action if your opponent has already claimed or something and you want to try to pull off another event or still have resources to spend.
The only reason I run one copy of Force Speed is because that's all I currently own, but I'm not even sure if I'd include two. I've found that it's important to not be afraid to overwrite it with another upgrade if you're in need of more sides or even to buy another turn when at low health with Force Illusion or something.
Suspect cards for removal for me are: Destiny, Return of the Jedi, and Lightsaber. Despite its lack of redeploy, (and the awkward side,) I typically find Handcrafted Light Bow more useful than Lightsaber in this deck because of its versatility and because I like sides. (Although the 3 for 1 side on Lightsaber is great for Guard)
Return of the Jedi just feels too slow (I end up wishing it had Ambush,) and I feel like nine times out of ten I just end up discarding Destiny for a reroll rather than lose bunch of dice. (But then again, that one time out of ten where I drop a late-round Vibroknife to cheat a bunch of actions for no resources is pretty sweet)
Manage those sides patiently and you can do loads of damage with Qui-Gon and Riposte. Three dice can turn into three more damage in one resolution as long as Qui-Gon already has at least one shield on him. Caution + Riposte is also worth another three damage, but Caution becomes pretty much useless once one of your characters goes down. (Typically Rey)
Don't be afraid to pass a few actions if it means you can trigger Your Eyes Can Deceive You once or twice after your opponent has activated. (Unless they've got Fast Hands or something... damn that resolution speed!)
I mostly started playing around with this build because Blue / Force is what I had the most Upgrades for after buying a starter deck and some packs, but it's grown on me over time and is fun to drive!
