Do you like aggro, but can´t find an interesting deck in the current meta? Then this might be something for you! Here´s an Awakenings style ambush aggro deck that runs in guns blazing and closes the round with a Jump to Lightspeed.

Strategy

The first half is economy through Landos cost reduction and both guys dual sides. This allows the deck to keep a resource pace with the support decks.

Next half of the strategy is ambush aggro. I.e. roll & resolve in one go. There´s 8 different 'draw and shoot' cases; Drop In, Instigate, Han Solo's Blaster and Millennium Falcon.

The best is the Falcon as this allows you to roll in Lando and hopefully see some damage and then deploy the ship, roll it in and the also roll in Han with a ambush action on top. (It´s quite fun see the opponent cringe at this moment...)

The final part of the puzzle is to claim for a powerful cost reducted Event. Mean Streets - Correlia is fantastic, allowing the deck to claim and Jump To Lightspeed, Bravado a dice for extra burst damage or simply a Flee the Scene.

Playstyle

Notice that the big -sides, meaning the deck hits hard when it does. This feeds into good bang for the buck and that growing dice isn´t that big thing as much as have good control options up. Most often better spare a to claim into something nasty over getting another die out.

Play fast and get the claim from start to grow Mean Streets, but later it doesn´t matter as much.

Only fiddle with the Escape Crafts Action and Power Action if necessary and you have time. I most often attach it and keep it there to get more dice into the pool.

Put Hidden Blaster on Han to overwrite into his own gun later and get the mini control. When he´s on the ropes overwrite into the Black Sun Blaster Pistol

Streetwise is up for debate. Maybe it´ll be Truce or a Across The Galaxy, but the rest I´m quite satisfied with so far.

All that said, it´s a roll and pray deck. Swingy and frustrating at times and godlike awesome at others. Very fun to play though :)

matchups vs x?

So how does it do on the field?

Well vs ReyLo - Kylo can´t do his thing and once Rey is focused down it´s over.

Well vs Palp/x - this is unblockable fast damage vs a slow grow deck.

Even vs Satine Droids - if they ramp well it´s a race. If not it´s an easy win.

Even vs Jabba - same as Satine

Bad vs Chopper Droid - this is almost the same deck, but with more life.
