Version 2.0:

After several games of playtesting, this deck needed lots of work. Its core strategy is solid: use Armored Reinforcement to tutor for Umbaran Hover Tank and special chain with Arihnda Pryce - Unscrupulous Governor and have Val - Headstrong Renegade for added flexibility with specials (and to keep at 27 points).

But besides that, this deck had a ton of fat that was essentially discard fodder.

First of all, this marks my second attempt to convince myself that T-16 Skyhopper is a good card. It's not, and it never should have been in this deck.

Secondly, I can afford to cool it on the trilogies. The simple addition of Truce, Weapons Factory Alpha - Cymoon 1 and Bait and Switch make this deck a force with which to be reckoned.

Didn't need Tobias Beckett's Rifle, didn't need Testing Procedure (honestly, what was i thinking?)

Commence Primary Ignition is awesome, so I added another, and the last new addition is Separatist Landing Craft, which I think can help late game to give more health into your pool.

But often times I don't need it. Playing the deck now seems a lot more smooth and can deal out an insane amount of damage. The ideal combo is the Umbaran tank with a Triple Laser Turret, which makes its special nigh impossible to stop. If you can get that and Targeting Astromech by say round 2, it's probably over. While the Arc Caster's are OK and the Dorsal Turret is serviceable, you should look to start your turn with a TLT.

Your plan B is to tutor for Firespray-31 and power action for a mod turn one. This should probably be the strat you use against a two-wide deck as opposed to a three-wide, as you can likely 4-6 direct damage turn one instead of what is essentially 4-6 indirect damage. Your call, though.

Ultimately, I think this is a really powerful version, and it tested much better, so I hope you enjoy and let me know what you think!

Why only 1 Umbaran Hover Tank? Probably run 2 just in case the first one gets Vandalized. Also, how often were you claiming? Are you claiming enough to get good use out of Hasty Exit?

@dustin13862 I definitely don't want to be so vulnerable to that kind of thing, so I may eventually run it, but I do have Firespray-31 as a nice backup, I think, and the damage on the Hover Tank is enough that I'm able to get a lot of value out of it before the Vandalize can come out (usually). We'll see with more testing.

And, yeah, Hasty Exit was in the original version of this deck as a good proc with Landing Dock - Scipio, to have more reliable battlefield control, so I may take it out.

That said, I do really favor 0-cost removal in this deck, and I don't have enough disrupt sides to grab something like Shakedown, so the only viable alternative in my mind is Sound The Alarm, which I may switch in, but I'm getting OK usage out of Hasty Exit, so I may keep with for the time being.

Probably a bad idea, but Emperor's Throne Room - Death Star II? Pryce makes it unnecessary prob but gives you more late game

@cjnj193 I definitely considered that, but I've tested this deck pretty extensively now and I haven't had a problem getting the Umbaran Special. Between Arihnda, Astromech, Barrel Roll and even the Arc Caster, I'm hitting it regularly enough that I wouldn't want to sacrifice my battlefield advantage for it.

The other change I've made here is to swap out Barrel Rolls for Partnership. They're both good, so it was a tough choice, but the fact that Barrel Roll can be countered by mitigation makes me want to run Partnership, so I can activate Arihnda, activate the hover tank, and then resolve dice before anyone can say anything about it. It will be the rough equivalent of Commerce primary Ignition, just a bit worse, but cheaper in some situations.

Great deck. I've been running something similar, just with a Shadow Caster as my alternate plan vs 2-wides. Very similar mod suite and some shared events as well.

Partnership sounds like a great add and I have to admit that Weapons Factory Alpha - Cymoon 1 is just more valuable than the Emperor's Throne Room - Death Star II. I'll be making those changes for sure.

I've been running the rest of the deck around Deja Vu and mostly 0-1 cost events. That plus a little anti-Vader tech, with big swing cards like Crush the Rebellion, has served me well so far.

Again, great deck, hope you keep at it.

@openboats I've been rolling with this a lot. I brought it to a local store tourney and took second, very narrowly losing to a Fat Shadow Caster deck (they had two health left), so I think this is surprisingly competitive. Ironically, Partnership failed me. It was the last round, I had one health left on Arihnda. He still has all his characters, but with significant damage on them. I have the battlefield, play partnership first action. If I get one Arihnda special, it's likely over, as I can chain to the Umbaran special and then finish it off next turn. If I get two Airhnda specials, it's over right then and there.

I roll double blanks ... GG.

Not that I will be getting rid of Partnership any time soon. It's still SOOO good, and the odds are definitely in my favor.
