My version of the Hero Mill, based on the Rainbow Rieekan and also Somewhere over the Rainbow.

My problem with the original Hero Mill is the Jedi Instructor. I really dislike her, her dice, and her ability. I lose Padme Amidala - Queen of Naboo because of the point cost, so no mill special, but I get 2 characters with discard instead of 1.

C-3PO is the real hero. Rieekan goes down, then Rey, and you're left with a Wookiee. With 3PO on the board, those 3/1 and 2/1 sides can still do discard work. Also, the card selection here is very aggressive mill. Lots of cards attacking your opponents deck directly. Spy Net is great with the number of focus sides in the upgrades.

I'm still testing and refining, but I did win a tournament with it against Bazine/Quinlan/Jabba, Bala/Cienna/Guavian, and Vader/Phasma(pre-eratta).

I gave this a whirl last night and I Really like it. I think it needs some tweaking but some of the synergy is quite a sight to behold.

I've only tested about 3 games but won 2/3. Lone loss was a dumb misplay.

Any changes you've done so far?

This is the second iteration actually. Originally I had in Millennium Falcon, Planned Explosion, Outpost, and Hunker Down. I swapped in the Strike Briefing, and Secret Mission, along with Commando Raid.

I played this again last night at the lgs, and I think I'm going to ditch the Commando Raid for another Hyperspace Jump. I lost hard to a Darth Vader - Sith Lord/Ciena Ree - Adept Pilot deck that was running Probe. He caught my only Hyperspace Jump on turn 1, which was unfortunate for me. I'd won the roll off and took his battlefield for the shields with the jump in hand to get my battlefield in. He also proceeded to god roll time after time after time. Even with a Leadership/The Price of Failure, 3 Vader activation turn totaling more than 20 damage, I still got him down to 2 cards in hand before he finished me off.

The deck has legs, and when it goes off it is surprising how quickly your opponent finds himself without a deck.
