I used to play Krennic a lot. I've been continually testing new things for him to shine in all his wacky glory. Something I've learned is that the Death Trooper HAS to die first, since Krennic has a baby Death Trooper inside. You keep more dice on the board to use you powerful Tactical Mastery/Swiftness into We Have Them Now combo to fire off 6+ damage and kill characters out of nowhere.

Red Villain has real poor mitigation, so you have to use Krennic differently. Don't be afraid to resolve discards or disrupts. You're limiting rerolls and what damage sides are essentially blanks. Probe is a real killer when your opponent is passing back to back and trying to mitigate your damage, and really opens you up. The control package assists when luck is not on your side and no other solutions are viable. Direct all your Best Defenses and Cannon Fodders onto the DT in that case.

With EAW, I don't see a ton that helps Krennic except for Feint, Rend, and the Day Is Ours. Feint allows you to trigger Imperial Inspection, and also accumulate an additional Death Trooper die, then run it back and roll out again. Rend is just good against a lot of the crap in the meta, probably a 1 of. Same goes for the Day Is Ours, and I can see Krennic going high-risk, high-reward with Main Plaza as your battlefield.
