Ok, so I came across this character combo on here and thought...why not. Made a bunch of personalized edits (still working on those) and here's where we are.

Only had four "real" games with it so far, but it is undefeated (2x ePalp, Ackbar/Hired Gun/Hired Gun, eObi/Ackbar)

I know what you're thinking..."Why aren't you using snap so you can claim?"

Because I'm not running Planetary Uprising in this deck. I main Han Solo - Scoundrel/Temmin "Snap" Wexley - Recon Specialist and I know how he plays very well...BUT.

Ackbar's main roll is to act as gas for Leadership and to provide focus sides...and to sponge damage. It may not seem like a lot, but 9 health is still more than 8. And believe me, you'd be surprised how often someone will chuck their last card to try and re-roll, forgetting that his ability will cost them two damage.

Since the first couple games I have since made these changes.

-1 Rey die +1 Maz die -2 Dug in +2 Field Medic

(this deck likely won't be claiming after turns 1/2 with supports and taking advantage of Leadership, so Dug In became worthless

Smuggling Freighter is very very useful, especially in conjunction with C-3PO's ability and keeping cards in your deck since you'll likely chuck your whole hand each round. That being said, it could end up on the block. "Fair" Trade has been an MVP. At times netting me 5 for 1 and stopping Rise Again in its tracks. The two cards on the block for potential rethinking right now are Rey's Staff, and Lone Operative, only because they haven't been useful YET. That being said, they're in there because they are great utility cards...maybe they will see some play. It's also possible that the Lightsabers could get chucked...I love the redeploy, but not having Loth-Cat and Mouse in this deck is weird for me

You want to open with at least one Force Speed, but two and either a Vibroknife or Holdout Blaster are ideal, with at least one piece of mitigation (I like to start with Flank) and possibly C-3PO or "Fair" Trade. Drop your upgrades on Rey, roll her in, roll Maz in, use her ability to resolve at least one Speed special, resolve a few dice, maybe Fair Trade, roll Ackbar, look for focus for damage, call it a turn. It's very very quick

UPDATE: Went 1-1 tonight against a very interesting General Grievous - Jedi Hunter and Asajj Ventress - Force Assassin deck. Caught me by surprise initially as I've never played that character combo (or seen anyone run it).

For those of you who would prefer to run Snap for the extra control/choke, sub in Temmin "Snap" Wexley - Recon Specialist instead of Admiral Ackbar - Perceptive Tactician, swap out both Leadership for two Planetary Uprising and remove Lone Operative for a second Maz's Goggles. I would also really consider ditching the Field Medics for Dug in and ditching Reversal and Smuggling Freighter for two Defensive Positions since you're planning on taking advantage of the battlefield. Lastly, swap in everyone's favorite Carbon-freezing Chamber - Bespin since, realistically, your character dice aren't super important to you.
